The coastlines of Olbia stretch for a hundred kilometers. Beaches and cliffs creates a spectacle of nature. Along the road from Olbia to Golfo Aranci there is the “Pittulongu, Lido” the historical marine of the Olbians, currently undergoing a major redevelopment. The location offers a lot of beaches, all with white sand and a crystal blue sea.
The most extensive and well equipped beach is called “La Playa” with breathtaking views of the Tavolara Island. Of note are other beaches, known as “Jaws,” “The Pelican”, “Sea and Rocks”, “Bados”, “Nodu Pianu”, “Cala Banana” and the wonderful “Cala Sassari.” Another well-known resort, that is about ten kilometers to the north-east of Olbia, is the Gulf of Marinella with one of the most beautiful, wide and well equipped in Sardinia.Considered one of the capitals of the national and international tourism is Porto Rotondo, about fifteen kilometers from Olbia.
Continuing to the Costa Smeralda, always in the municipal area, many coves of extraordinary beauty and settlements, among Mediterranean vegetation as Cugnana and Portisco. A special note deserves the hamlet of San Pantaleo: charming village nestled between the rocks, loved by many artists, including foreigners, who reside there all year.
